Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who helped out with the 2nd Annual Whistle Stop Christmas Fair!

Below is the letter that was published in the Markham and Stouffville Newspapers:

Fair aided arthritis work

Thanks to everyone who helped make the second annual Whistle Stop Christmas Fair in Markham Dec. 5 such a success.
This year, we were able to send the Arthritis Society a $300 donation. The money was raised through the sale of coffee, cookies and popcorn, as well as donations, at Carl’s Cafe at the fair.
The fair, which was held in the picturesque Markham Village Train Station, was organized by Laura and Grace Volpe of Stouffville.
Thank you to our wonderful vendors and everyone who helped.
Our elves, Catherine Faiello, Erika Sternberg and Deshawna Dookie, braved the cold in their best elf finery to wave signs encouraging people to come in to the fair. Carl Hiehn masterfully took care of the cafe.
A special thank you to our talented musicians who added so much to the Christmas atmosphere: Brian O’Sullivan, Richard Elliott, Bosco Fernandes, Nicole Bernabei, Kim O’Connor and Brandon Wild.

Sweet, Savoury and Gluten-free!

Sweet Grace and Co. truly cares about providing you with the best food possible.  That means using healthy natural ingredients.  Eating should be something that makes you feel good and that leaves your stomach feeling satisfied.

We have spent several years perfecting wheat-free and gluten-free recipes that will leave you asking for more!

My sister and I were inspired to start cooking this way after our mother was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.  Wheat products were leaving her feeling stiff.  She was having difficulty walking and was in pain.  Eating wheat-free and gluten-free has given our mother increased flexibility in her joints and a happier outlook on life!  We encourage you to try it for yourself!

You can find us at the Unionville Farmers Market every Sunday from May to October.  Please come by and say hello!
